The Co-60 gamma-ray irradiation facilities consist of three buildings equipped with eight irradiation cells. The dose-rate cover a wide range from 0.2 Gy/h to 20 kGy/h by the irradiation cells. The facilities are dedicated to research and development in different fields of industry, medical treatment, etc..

The Co-60 sources are stored in water pools 6 m in depth, which are arranged under the irradiation rooms. The Co-60 source is elevated upwards to the irradiation position in the irradiation room. The irradiation rooms are surrounded with 1.3 m thick heavy concrete walls for radiation shielding.
