Internship Program at QST
We offer a "Trainees" program for students. The conditions are as follows.

Salary, Expenses
We do not provide salary, living expenses, or accommodation for the trainees.
Medical or life insurance
We do not provide medical or life insurance to trainees which covers accidents during research activities. Therefore, they must acknowledge the lack of coverage and obtain their own insurance to address this issue.
Screening by CV
Directors of research departments will evaluate applicants based on their CVs, and sometimes also conduct interviews. Therefore, please ensure to send us your resume.
Eligibility
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university or have the academic ability equivalent to or above the university level.
Acceptance Period
Within QST's fiscal year (from April to March). For example, if the trainees wish to undertake a 6-month internship starting in April 2024, it concludes in September 2024. On the other hand, if they begin their trainee program in January 2025, it must be concluded by the end of March 2025. However, they have the option to extend the period to June 2025 by submitting the application form again.
Training report
Trainees must submit a training report as soon as they finish their program.
A Trainee is a system that allows young individuals to engage in research without being employed by QST.
For young researchers who hope to work at QST and receive compensation, there are other systems such as "Postdoc" and "Researcher".
