Direction to the conference site
The conference will be held at Nara Kasugano International Forum, Iraka, in Nara park. It is approximately 2 km east of JR Nara station. Take a bus, route no.2 "Nara city loop, clockwise" from bus stop no.2 at the east exit of JR Nara station, or bus stop no. 1 from Kintetsu Nara station, and get off at "Todaiji daibutsuden Kasuga taisha-mae". The conference site is a 3 minute walk toward the hills through the lawn from the bus stop. You can also take a less frequent bus route no.7 "Kasugataisha-honden" from the same bus stop from JR and Kintetsu Nara station, and get off at "Nara Kasugano International Forum Iraka mae".
It is approximately 30 minutes walk from JR Nara station along Omiya-dori street toward the hills.

Travel to Nara
The most convenient international airport for overseas visitors to Nara is Kansai Airport (KIX). From Kansai Airport, you can come to Nara by Airport Limousine buses or railways. Airport Limousine buses run directly to the two Nara stations (JR Nara and Kintetsu Nara). Using railways, there are two train services. Using JR, take the Haruka limited express or a rapid service train to Tennoji, and transfer to the Yamatoji line to JR Nara station. Or you can take Nankai railways to Namba, and transfer to the Kintetsu Nara line to Kintetsu Nara station. It takes approximately 1.5 hours and costs 1,700 (railway) - 2,400 JPY (Airport Limousine bus) for the travel, depending on the route, and an additional fee of 760 JPY is required if you take the JR Haruka express.
If you take a domestic flight, you can arrive at Osaka Itami Airport. From Osaka Itami Airport take a Limousine bus to JR Nara station.
From Tokyo, take the JR Shinkansen Nozomi super express to Kyoto, and transfer to the JR Nara line or the Kintetsu Kyoto line. Using the Kintetsu line, if you take an express service to Nara you can arrive at Kintetsu Nara station directly, otherwise you need to make a transfer to Kintetsu Nara at Saidaiji.
