Abstract
A joint research team consisting of Senior Researcher SUZUI Nobuo, Senior Researcher YAMAGUCHI Mitsutaka, and Project Leader KAWACHI Naoki of the Takasaki Institute for Advanced Quantum Science, QST, with Professor TSUJI Mizuki of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of the Ryukyus, has developed a novel method to visualize, in real time and quantitative manner, how food is distributed and exchanged within ant colonies by using radioactive imaging techniques.
