QST declares that all executives and staff members work together toward the goal of promoting health.
We have added “Health consciousness” to our Basic Principle and Code of Conduct, which form the basis of QST’s activities:
Health consciousness
We actively promote mental and physical health.
In addition, we promote initiatives based on the following 3 specific policies:
(1)We improve health literacy.
To enable executives and staff members to autonomously work on maintaining and improving their own health, it is essential to enhance health literacy—the ability to find, understand, evaluate, and use health information that suits oneself. We promote this enhancement.
(2)We enhance communication within and across organizations.
Supervisor support and engagement are key factors in overall health risk. We promote the improvement of communication within and across organizations, as it forms the foundation for these elements and directly contributes to increased productivity.
(3)We implement a population approach.
We believe that promoting the health of all members requires not only a "high-risk approach," which provides health guidance to individuals at high risk, but also a "population approach," which focuses on creating a supportive environment for all members, including those who may be at risk in the future.
All QST executives and staff members are united in carrying out these initiatives.
