QI2025 SIP3 special session 
Promoting Application of Advanced Quantum Technologies to Social Challenges 
―Toward Future Quantum Society― 

OUTLINE of QI2025 SIP3 Special Session

“Promoting Application of Advanced Quantum Technologies to Social Challenges” called “SIP3 quantum” is one of the programs in 3rd term Cross-ministerial Strategic Innovation Promotion Program (SIP).   

In Quantum Innovation 2025 a special session of SIP3 quantum is established. Social implementation of quantum technologies is mainly focused on the special session.

The SIP3 special session is constituted of opening remarks by Dr. Sogawa who is a program director of SIP3 quantum, 4 sub-sessions, and 3 plenary talks. The sub-sessions are in accordance with the sub-programs in SIP3 quantum including quantum computing, quantum security and network, quantum sensing, and innovation creation platform. Each sub-session, principal investigators and co-workers participating in the sub-program present their latest results of R&D and activities of social implementation in SIP3 quantum. As plenary, experts in industry including a start-up in relation to quantum technologies are invited and talk about their own works.
