Hydrogen Matrials Research Group

Group Leader SAITOH Hiroyuki

Research

  1. Fundamental and applied studies of hydrogen materials using synchrotron radiation X-rays, high-pressure apparatus, magnetron sputter apparatus, and theoretical calculations
  2. The development of experimental techniques for in-situ measurements under extreme conditions, including high-hydrogen pressure and in compressed hydrogen gas environments
  3. Studies on the effects of synchrotron X-ray irradiation on tumors. The research group members focus on the syntheses of novel hydrogen-rich compounds and theoretical calculations considering the quantum effect of hydrogen.
