“Nanostructured Polymer Materials” Project has been developing the advanced functional polymer materials, such as polymer electrolyte materials and separation membranes for high performance fuel cells, hydrogen production systems, and metal-air batteries by using quantum beams. Our research includes the synthesis of the polymer electrolyte membranes by radiation-induced graft polymerization using g-rays and electron beams, the visualization of nanostructures using small-angle scattering, simulation and imaging techniques. Most lately, we apply materials informatics to establish highly efficient R&D processes for novel functional polymer materials.
