On 23 July, the Rokkasho Fusion Institute held the Sience Café for children and their parents at Apio, Aomori. Thanks to the fine weather that day, many families joined this event. Participants enjoyed experiments using plasma and liquid nitrogen and observed the sun with a telescope, which are actually related to the research activities carried out in the Rokkasho Fusion Institute. Dr. Plasma, who made his debut at this event, managed to complete his experiments, supported by the wonderful reactions of the children.
(Dr. Plasma was a little nervous for his very first science cafe)

(What happens if we drop this frozen rubber?)
(Let's observe the sun together!)
(On a sunny day, we can see the sun like this! The orange circle shows the prominence)
