Participated in “The 10th business workshop in the village” at Rokkasho High School in 2017
The Rokkasho Fusion Institute participated in a business workshop in the village for the first time at the Aomori Prefecture Rokkasho High School on 20 June 2017.
The seminar were attended by 27 businesses in the Rokkasho village. The explanation and question and answer of each business were held by the interactive style, for total 3 times 20 minutes each for the 1st to 3rd grade students of Rokkasho high school.
The following three main topics were discussed.
- difficulties of working and how to overcome hardship
- enjoyment and challenging task of work
- the way contributes to society
The Rokkasho Fusion Institute of the National Institutes for Quantum Radiological Science and Technology, we are still not well recognized by people since this new Institute was integrated on April 1, 2016. Although many students were attended with curiosity in our workshop and the explanation and lively Q&A session were carried out. What has greatly impressed us is, especially for the 3rd grade students with the preparation of job hunting, they were enthusiastically listening with taking notes of the explanation of research and work by the Director General Ushigusa. We would appreciate for the participation in our workshop, so the students get familiar with the Rokkasho Fusion Institute.
