Scafold for regenative medicine
Development of scafold for regenerative medicine
A technique of the regenerative medicine is developing to regenerate biotissue using nature healing power for the persons, who lost a part of the function/composition of the body by an injury or a disease. Damaged heart, cornea, esophagus, liver, cartilage and other organs could be treated or restored by the regenerative medicine. Only injecting an objective cell in the body is not enough for the restoration. Therefore, a base material (scaffold), which is controlled a shape, a chemical characteristic, is required for the adhesion and extension of the objective cell.
We are developing a functional scaffold for cell cultures made of collagen or gelatin as raw materials using the nanofabrication technology of the quantum beam.
