International Collaboration
The A&M data unit of the IAEA Nuclear Data Section was established in 1977. Since then, ALADDIN (A Labelled Atomic and Molecular Data Interface) has been produced by multilateral collaboration. A&M data activities for research and development of the next-generation fusion machine, ITER (International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor), are presently being performed by 14 A&M data centers in 7 countries.
Under the US-Japan fusion cooperation program, evaluation work on atomic collisions and atomic structures are going on in collaboration with ORNL and NIST, respectively.
