Directions to Kobe Sannomiya Station

From Kansai International Airport (KIX) to Sannomiya Station

1. Take the Kansai-Airport Limousine Bus from Terminal 1 headed for Kobe-sannomiya Station

2. Walk from Kobe-sannomiya Station to Kobe-sannomiya Bus Terminal (~4 min walk)　where you take a bus
3. At Kobe-sannomiya Bus Terminal take the bus bound for Higashiura (東浦バスターミナル) or Tsunako (津名港)

Detailed guide from Kobe-sannomiya Station to Awajiyumebutai

Here is a picture of the map of the area surrounding Kobe-sannomiya Station

​1. You arrive at Kobe-sannomiya Station

​2. Go to entrance of Kobe-sannomiya Bus Terminal which is at the top of the stairs you see in the previous picture

3. ​Buy tickets at the Bus Ticket Counter

4. Go to the Bus stop

5. Once on the bus press the button above you when you see the Awajiyumebutai stop on
the bus screen at the front of the bus

Points to be mindful of

Exceptions

Buses leaving from Kobe-sannomiya Bus terminal after 19:00 do not stop at Awajiyumebutai, but stop at Kokudo Yumebutai Bus Stop, which is 5 minutes walk from the Hotel "Grand Nikko Awaji" (here is link showing walking directions:

Credit Card useage

From the airports to Kobe-sannomiya station, one can use credit cards.
From Kobe-sannomiya station to Awajiyumebutai, one can use credit cards.
However,
from Awajiyumebutai to Kobe-sannomiya station, one can NOT use credit cards (only cash).
From Kobe-sannomiya station to airports by bus, one can NOT use credit cards (only cash).
From Kobe-sannomiya station to airports by train, one can use credit cards.

1)  If you want to use credit cards for the return bus ticket from the venue to Sannomiya station, you need to buy a round trip bus ticket on the day of arrival at Sannomiya station.
2) Also, if you want to use credit cards for the return bus trip from Sannomiya station to the airports, you need to purchase a round trip ticket on the day of arrival at the airport.
