Recent Progress and Activities of the Soft-X-ray and Vacuum-Ultraviolet Beamlines at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility
Dr. Mao Ye
(State Key Laboratory of Functional Materials for Informatics, Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences)
概要
Synchrotron light sources within the energy range of soft-x-ray (SX) and vacuum-ultraviolet (VUV) have the unique advantages for the study on the electronic and atomic structures of various materials. Several SX and VUV beamlines have been recently developed in Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF), which is a 3rd-generation synchrotron light source that started user operation since 2009.
In this talk, I will introduce the recently constructed SX and VUV beamlines and endstations at SSRF, which are dedicated for the research of the electronic states in solid states materials for energy and environment, as well as for informatics applications, involving the methods of angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, ambient-pressure x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, x-ray magnetic circular dichroism, etc.
