The Rokkasho Fusion Institute participated in a business workshop in the village for the first time at the Aomori Prefecture Rokkasho High School on 20 June 2017.

The Rokkasho Fusion Institute participated in a science café (aimed at elementary school students and older, at Osaka venue) on 17 through 23 April 2017, as one of the Science Technology Week, sponsored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Exhibited at “Tanoshimube! Festival” sponsored by Rokkasho-village

On 13 and 14 May, the Rokkasho Fusion Institute participated in the “Tanoshimube! Festival” held at Rokkasho village. Despite the rainy weather below 10 degrees on both days, science experiments, tin badge making were carried out and handed out some pamphlets in this events.
