A shielded positron source was fabricated /December/2010.
We fabricated a shielded positron source that can be used in vacuum conditions. The source is 22-NaCl and its strength is approximately 330MBq. This source was designed for our table-top positron microscope, but the fabriaction method itself is commonly used for the conventional source for positron beam, angular correlation of annihilation radiation and so on.
