NanoTerasu introduces 3-GeV full energy injector linear accelerator (LINAC). The total length is 110 m with 40 of 2-m C-band accelerating structures.
We are also conducting research and development for future Soft-X-ray free-electron laser (SX-FEL) applications.
Gridded thermionic cathode RF electron gun and 40-MeV injector
Newly developed RF electron gun is installed. It enables the generation of high-quality and highly stable beams. Details are described in Phys. Rev. Accel. Beams 23, 063401 (2020).

C-band
40 of 2-m C-band accelerating structures are installed. The accelerating field is 42 MV/m.
