Proprietary research proposals can be accepted as internal projects of QST.
“Application Qualification”, “Regular Call for Research Proposals”, “Application Method”, “Necessity of Pre-consultation”, “Urgent Application”, “Duplicate Applications” and “Effective Period of Project” in the “Shared-Use Program in QST Facilities (in Japanese)” are same as those for the ARIM project. Please keep the Terms of Shared-Use Program in QST Facilities.
“(2) Facility Operating Costs” differs from that of the ARIM project, but “(1) Handling Charge” and “(3) Additional Expenses” are same as the ARIM project. Proposals under the proprietary use and commercial use categories also incur (4) JASRI beamtime fees of 312,000 JPY/shift.
QST reviews proposals under the proprietary use and commercial use categories with respect to feasibility and safety.
